Job summary

A global accounting and finance firm in Pune District is seeking candidates for an accounting role, focusing on the preparation of financial statements and management accounts in various GAAPs. Qualifications

• 0-5 years of experience in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare Book-Keeping and periodic primary statements.
• Analyze bank transactions on accounting platform/excel.
• Process invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Reconcile AP & AR (Inter-company transactions).
• Prepare & report periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs.

Job description

Key duties and responsibilities

• Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book‑Keeping and periodic primary statements, namely – P&L account, Balance sheet, Cash‑flows & notes as appropriate.
• Analysis of bank transactions and processing them on accounting platform/excel.
• Analysis and processing of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Clear understanding of accrued & prepaid expenses, FAR & Revaluations.
• Understanding of cash, capital & Dividend movements.
• Ability to reconcile AP & AR (Inter‑company transactions).
• Exposure to Trial balance finalization.
• Preparation & reporting of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs, primarily in IFRS, US GAAP.
• Exposure to payroll accounting, posting journal entries & VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Qualification and Experience

• Qualification – CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in Accounting/Finance.
• Experience of 0‑5 years in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP is preferred).
