Job summary

Apex Group is hiring an Associate with 0–5 years in accounting to support book-keeping, financial reporting, and payroll tasks across multiple GAAPs. You will analyze transactions, prepare management accounts, and handle VAT/GST, working closely with onshore teams and clients.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA (Finance) or related qualification.
• 0-5 years accounting experience (IFRS/US GAAP preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receive data for book-keeping and periodic statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash-flows).
• Analyze bank transactions and process on accounting platform or Excel.
• Process invoices, expenses and other transactions.
• Understand accrued & prepaid expenses, FAR & revaluations.
• Understand cash, capital & dividend movements.
• Reconcile AP & AR (inter-company).
• Exposure to trial balance finalization.
• Prepare and report periodic management accounts under multiple GAAPs (IFRS/US GAAP).
• Exposure to payroll accounting, journal entries and VAT/GST returns.
• Resolve queries from onshore, clients, auditors and directors.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Receipt of required data for the preparation of Book-Keeping and periodic primary statements, namely – P&L account, Balance sheet, Cash-flows & notes as appropriate.
• Analysis of bank transactions and processing them on accounting platform/excel.
• Analysis and processing of invoices, expenses, and other transactions.
• Clear understanding of accrued & prepaid expenses, FAR & Revaluations.
• Understanding of cash, capital & Dividend movements
• Ability to reconcile AP & AR (Inter-company transactions)
• Exposure to Trial balance finalization.
• Preparation & reporting of periodic management accounts in multiple GAAPs, mainly in IFRS, US GAAP.
• Exposure to payroll accounting, posting journal entries & VAT/GST calculations/returns.
• Ability to understand and resolve queries raised by Onshore, Client, Auditor and Director.

Qualification And Experience

• Qualification- CA, CPA, ACCA, MBA (Finance), CFA, or any course specialized in Accounting/Finance
• Experience of 0-5 years in Accounting (IFRS/US GAAP is preferred)
