Job summary

JLL in Gurugram is seeking a Billing Analyst to handle invoice creation, credit notes, and contract setup. You will manage accruals, support audits, and perform month-end close while collaborating with business teams to resolve queries in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1–3 years in accounting, a Finance or Accounting degree, and strong English communication. On-site location in Gurugram with 40-hour workweeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred).
• 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoice creation & credit notes within defined timelines.
• Create contracts and projects.
• Book accruals in sub module & reconcile.
• Support internal and external audit processes and respond to inquiries.
• Perform month-end close activities.
• Communicate with business teams to resolve queries and build partnerships.
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis.

What this job involves:

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare invoice creation & credit notes in defined timelines
• Creation of contract & project
• Booking of accruals in sub module & reconciliation
• Support internal and external audit processes, respond to auditor requests and inquiries within defined timelines as & when required
• Month-end close activities
• Proactively communicate with business teams to resolve queries. Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders through regular updates
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting is preferred
• 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounting

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in PeopleSoft financials modules
• Excel skills

Language Requirements: Fluent in English

Other Requirements

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
