Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. is seeking an Analyst, Commercial Insights in Hyderabad, India. You will support Sales Planning, budgeting and forecasting for India and parts of Asia, building strategic insights to drive commercial decisions.

You will develop data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI, partner with cross-functional teams, and help prepare Business Reviews and SIOP meetings. Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of analytics experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data analysis, sales planning and reporting.
• Experience in BI tools and ERP systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job Summary

In this role you will support in managing of Sales Planning Process Cycle with primary focus on India. Other parts of Asia as per assignment by manager. Sales Planning Process namely Sales Strategic 5-year plan, Sales Yearly Budget, Sales Monthly Forecast and Monthly Business Forecast.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide the sales analysis support to the Business Planning cycle of Strategic 5-year plan, Budgeting and Forecasting Process.
• Provide standard and customized sales reports to assist Management/Commercial Team and other internal stake holders to make informed business decisions and track sales performance.
• Work with Sales Team on monthly update of sales forecasting data into APO DP system.
• Identify and analyze customers’ revenue and volume trends.
• Prepare and compile presentation slides for Business Review meetings.
• Participate in the Business Review meeting and SIOP meeting.
• Power user role in Global BI and APO DP and provide training to Commercial Team.
• Participate in process improvement projects and initiatives within the Commercial Team.
• Develop and implement data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and other analytics tools to aid in business decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver comprehensive business analytics solutions.
• Support Corporate Reporting of commercial performance and provide insights to the sales data.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience required and

Work Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience of data analysis and sales planning and reporting required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Global BI, APO DP and SAP SD
• Microsoft office. E.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Power BI
• Good communication skills – verbal and written
• Analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Good planning and time management skills.
• Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description
• Support and contribute in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
• Able to comply with the company’s quality and safety policies at all times

Travel Requirements

5%: Up to 13 business days per year

Physical Requirements

Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
