Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Chennai is seeking an Analyst - Accounts Receivable to support collections, invoicing, and dispute resolution. You will interact with customers and internal teams to ensure timely payments and accurate invoicing.

The role requires 1–2 years in AR and a commerce degree. Paid time off and health insurance are provided as part of the benefits package. Local candidates are preferred for this onsite position.

Qualifications

• B. Com / B.C.S / M. Com / MBA /BBA/BBM in commerce or accounts.
• 1–2 years of related experience in AR / collections.
• Experience with Collections and payment follow-ups.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience.
• Customer account reconciliation and dispute management.

Responsibilities

• Support collections and overdue bill processes with the business.
• Engage with management to address payment delays and actions.
• Generate and submit invoices for shipments and services timely.
• Prepare AR/GL reconciliations and weekly AR reports.
• Identify disputes, contact customers, and resolve payment issues.
• Assist in month-end activities and support audit requirements.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add Analyst - Accounts Receivable in Chennai.

What a typical day looks like

• Hold up the Collections team and our business in to address collections and overdue bills.
• Engage with management and the business to address payment delays and actions.
• Participate in process improvements, projects and hold up other management directives as prescribed.
• Provide timely reports/information to internal customers/Team guides/managers on customers exposure.
• Apply technical knowledge to reduce manual intervention and automate the routine jobs.
• In charge of ensuring timely generation and submission of invoices for Shipment and Services.
• Initiate actions for early identification and resolution of disputes with the customer.
• Contact customer (email and calls) and confirm receipt of shipment, Invoices, upcoming payment dates and invoice to be paid.
• Facilitate timely accounting of Funds Credited to Flex Bank account.
• Reporting activities - Generate and update Weekly AR reports, prepare AR/GL recons. Ensure completion of Month end accounting activities as per the corporate calendar. Holding up audit requirement for the function assigned.
