Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Chennai is seeking a Junior Financial Analyst – General Ledger to support journal processing, reporting, and balance sheet activities. Fresh graduates with finance knowledge and strong Excel skills are encouraged to apply, along with familiarity with ERP systems and good communication in English.

The role requires teamwork, analytical thinking, and a readiness to work in shifts to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or 0–12 months of experience in finance
• Good understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
• Good written and oral communication in English

Responsibilities

• Process journal transactions per SOPs
• Post rectification entries for supervisor-identified errors
• Extract reports from ERP system as per SOPs
• Generate and update Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet reports
• Perform reconciliation of Sub-module vs Trial Balance
• Support basic macros with Finance functional teams
• Analyze data and identify automation opportunities
• Work in a complex environment with strict project deadlines

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add Junior Financial Analyst – General Ledger in Chennai.

What a typical day looks like:

• Process journal transactions as per the standard operating procedures.
• Post rectification entries for the errors identified by the supervisor.
• Extract reports from the ERP system as per the standard operating procedures.
• Generate and update Trial Balance, P&L, and Balance Sheet reports.
• Perform reconciliation of Sub-module vs Trial Balance.
• Work with Finance functional teams to support basic macros.
• Analyze data and identify automation opportunities.
• Work in a complex environment with strict project deadlines.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• B.Com / BBA (Finance) / M.Com / MBA (Finance).
• Freshers / 0-12 months of relevant experience.
• Good understanding of MS Applications (Basic Level).
• Good knowledge of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP Systems.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work as a team player.
• Flexible to work in shifts.
