Job summary

Flex is seeking an Analyst - Travel and Expense to join our Chennai team. The role focuses on processing invoices, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely AP activities while maintaining high data accuracy. You will update vendor records and support process improvements in a collaborative environment.

The position emphasizes adherence to SOPs, opportunities to contribute ideas, and exposure to a dynamic manufacturing ecosystem that supports growing brands.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable and travel & expense processes.
• Ability to handle month-end closing activities related to AP/TE.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices as per standard operating procedures and meet targets.
• Resolve discrepant invoices per procedures and coordinate with vendors.
• Generate and update the AP reports for management review.
• Pass rectification entries for errors identified by internal QC team.
• Perform quality checks on accounts payable data.
• Select invoices for payment and release according to SOPs.
• Create or update Vendor Master records following SOPs.
• Provide innovative ideas to improve processes and controls.

What a typical day looks like:

• Process invoices as per the standard operating procedures and meet the targets.
• Resolve discrepant invoices as per the standard operating procedures.
• Reporting activities - Generate and update the AP.
• Passing rectification entries for the errors identified by internal QC team.
• Perform quality Check.
• Select Invoices for payment and release as per the standard operating procedures.
• Create / Update Vendor Master records based on Standard operation procedures.
• Must provide Innovative ideas to improve process.
