Job summary

TÜV SÜD Group is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform testing activities under supervision, operating instruments per approved procedures and maintaining records. The role includes supporting QMS, ensuring sample integrity, and upholding safety standards at the Gurugram lab.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in Chemistry or related field, understands testing documentation, and is committed to quality, accuracy, and compliant laboratory practices in an onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry or related technical field.
• Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality systems.
• Awareness of PPE requirements and safety practices.
• Familiarity with testing instruments and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing activities per approved standards under supervision.
• Operate laboratory instruments according to procedures.
• Support implementation and maintenance of theQuality Management System (QMS).
• Maintain technical records, test data and documentation.
• Record observations, calculations, and relevant testing data accurately.
• Report equipment issues to the Laboratory Supervisor for corrective actions.
• Segregate samples and ensure proper packaging and storage.
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping with 5S.
• Ensure PPE usage and safety procedures during testing.

Your Tasks

• Performing testing activities as per approved test standards under the supervision of Senior Analyst/Technician and Supervisor.
• Operating laboratory instruments strictly as per authorized scope and approved procedures.
• Supporting implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Maintaining technical records, test data, and documentation as per organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Recording initial observations, calculations, and relevant testing data accurately.
• Reporting equipment malfunction, breakdown, abnormal observations, or irrelevant test results to the Laboratory Supervisor for corrective and preventive actions.
• Segregating tested samples (Detected / Not Detected) and ensuring proper sample packaging and storage.
• Maintaining laboratory housekeeping standards through 5S implementation.
• Ensuring mandatory usage of PPE and compliance with laboratory safety procedures during all testing activities.

Your Qualifications
