Job summary

TÜV SÜD Group in India is seeking a Chemist with 4-6 years of experience to perform pesticide analyses in food and agriculture, and to operate GC-MS/MS with strict adherence to safety and quality processes.

You will ensure compliance with ISO 17025, maintain equipment, and manage CRM records while working onsite in Bangalore. The role requires meticulous documentation and strong lab discipline.

Qualifications

• M.Sc Chemistry with 4-6 years of experience.
• Preferrable working in Food Testing Labs.

Responsibilities

• Pesticides, Dithiocarbamates, ETO-analysis in food & agriculture, water samples.
• Handling, Operating & Calibration, Maintenance of GC-MS/MS.
• Must Abide by the rules & regulations of the laboratory.
• Responsible for Performing tests as per authorization and ensuring the TAT Compliance.
• Ensure Safe Handling of Equipment’s.
• Filling all logbooks for the equipment’s as per usage.
• Ensure to wear all the PPE’s and lap aprons before performing the tests without fail.
• Ensure to follow safety rules & Maintain 5S.
• Follow ISO 17025 requirements in lab with respect to Quality compliance and other regulatory requirements.
• Internal calibration of equipment’s Maintenance.
• CRM Management, Preparation, Storage, Disposal and Record maintenance.
