Job summary

TresVista Financial Services is seeking a skilled Business System Analyst to bridge the Software team and business units. You will gather requirements, draft FRD/BRD/SRS, and lead UAT & deployment activities for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related ERP systems.

You will coordinate with VPs and department heads, manage user access and licenses, perform feasibility assessments, and drive process improvements across finance, operations, and analytics to ensure system adoption and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in requirement gathering, FRD, BRD, SRS, and testing.
• Ability to sell the idea to higher management.
• Strong experience in Project Management.
• PM certifications (PMI PMP, PMI-ACP) a plus.
• Understanding of database and SQL with Python.
• Proficient in writing FRD/BRD/Data Flow diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) applications by analyzing user queries, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating resolutions with internal teams and vendors.
• Manage D365 user access, security roles, and license administration, including maintaining allocation records and reviews.
• Liaise with implementation and support vendors for incident management, service requests, product enhancements, and effort estimation.
• Act as a bridge between the Software team and business functions for requirement gathering, solution discussions, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Coordinate D365 testing, UAT, deployment validation, and preparation of user guides and support documentation.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements, gather feedback, communicate project updates, and ensure deliverable alignment.
• Ensure business processes, system configurations, and change requests are documented, approved, and version-controlled.
• Monitor project deliverables for timely delivery and high quality.
• Maintain expertise in ERP/HRMS/CRM/project management systems and cross-functional integration.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive process optimization and system adoption.

Role overview:

This role plays a critical part in bridging the gap between the Software team and various business functions across the organization. The individual will collaborate with VPs, Department Heads, and end users to understand business requirements, document current ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") processes, perform feasibility assessments, and translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for the Software team.

The role involves end-to-end ownership of the requirement lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design discussions, effort estimation, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment support, and post-implementation validation to ensure solutions align with business expectations and requirements.

In addition, the individual will provide functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), including incident and request management, user access and license administration, vendor coordination, stakeholder communication, and support for system enhancements and deployments. The role requires strong collaboration across departments to drive process improvements, ensure effective system adoption, and support the organization's enterprise applications ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) applications by analyzing user queries, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating resolutions with internal teams and vendors.

Manage D365 user access, security roles, and license administration, including maintaining allocation records, coordinating approvals, and supporting periodic access and license reviews.

Liaise with implementation and support vendors for incident management, service requests, product enhancements, effort estimation, renewals, and ongoing support activities.

Act as a bridge between the Software team and business functions for requirement gathering, solution discussions, UAT, deployment, and post-implementation support.

Coordinate D365 testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment validation, and preparation of user guides, knowledge articles, and support documentation.

Engage with stakeholders across departments to understand business requirements, gather feedback, communicate project updates, and ensure alignment on deliverables.

Ensure business processes, system configurations, and change requests are properly documented, approved, version-controlled, and maintained.

Monitor project deliverables to ensure timely delivery, high quality, and alignment with business requirements and expected outcomes.

Evaluate change requests by assessing business impact, feasibility, effort, and potential operational benefits, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.

Maintain expertise in enterprise applications such as ERP, HRMS, CRM, and Project Management systems, with a strong understanding of business process integration.

Work closely with the user community to identify improvement opportunities, drive process optimization, and enhance overall system adoption and effectiveness.
