Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an Analyst at Early Talent (On Campus) to support commercial analytics across Europe and the US. You will handle marketing mix, forecasting, segmentation and performance analytics, leveraging Python, R and SAS, and present actionable insights to clients.

Work on ROI and optimization projects, manage datasets, and coordinate with teammates to ensure high-quality results within short timelines. Strong MS Office skills and data visualization tooling are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle commercial analytics projects including marketing mix, forecasting, segmentation and decision-tree analyses.
• Work on projects like ROI analysis, resource and price optimization, and profiling for physicians/patients.
• Engage with client-facing stakeholders globally, especially in Europe and the US, to guide insights.
• Manage datasets efficiently and determine appropriate processing tools (Excel, SAS, Python, etc.).
• Present findings and recommendations from a business perspective to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members and perform QC to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Execute advanced analytics techniques such as Hierarchical models, Bayesian models, optimization, RNN/CNN as needed.

Job Overview

• As an Analyst you will be responsible to handle commercial analytics projects, specifically marketing mix, forecasting, segmentation & decision tree, customer, and brand performance analytics projects with proficiency in Python, R and SAS.
• Work across projects such as promotional return (ROI analysis), Resource and price optimization analysis, Physician / patient profiling.
• Develop a good understanding of consumer offerings, proprietary databases, and analytical approaches to effectively guide and support client-facing stakeholders across globe mainly in Europe and US.
• Handle small and large datasets on projects efficiently and figure out the right technology for processing the data (e.g. Excel, SAS, Python etc.,). Be a champion on analytics technologies within the team.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in business point of view.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with team members in performing QC for the delivery of projects with tight turnaround time.
• Ability to perform advance analytics analyses such as Hierarchical model, Bayesian Hierarchical model, Linear & Non-Linear Optimization Techniques, RNN, CNN etc.

Qualification

• Relevant Educational Certification / Degree in related field
• Proficiency in MS office applications such as Excel and Power Point proficiency in SAS, R, Python are mandatory will be plus, if experience id data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI.
• Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
• Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction, and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline.
• Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques, related to one’s functional area.
• Knowledge of current events and developments within an industry and major competitors.
• Knowledge of the marketplace. Knowledge of professional/trade associations, key people and companies. Effective time management skills.
