Job summary

IQVIA India is seeking a PASS Data Analyst to join the Analytics team within Patient Access & Support Services. The role involves analyzing secondary data on patients, physicians and pharmacies, and building forecasting dashboards using Power BI.

You will work under guidance initially, then take ownership of projects and mentor junior colleagues. Responsibilities include delivering client-ready reports, presenting insights, and collaborating with account management and clients to meet analytics

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Excel and SQL to derive trends, conclusions, and actionables for clients.
• Contribute to internal brainstorming and collaborate with account management teams.
• Evaluate secondary data on markets, physicians, patients and pharmacies.
• Develop and work with PowerBI reporting tools for insights and forecasting.
• Coordinate with clients and PSS account team to manage analytics for scheduled and ad hoc requests.
• Create client-facing reports, presentations and deliverables.
• Present to client audiences via teleconference, videoconference, or in person meetings.
• Build professional relationships with internal and external client teams.
• Continuously develop knowledge of the healthcare industry and engagement methodologies.

The Role of a PASS Data Analyst:

Analysts begin under the guidance of more senior team members but are quickly provided with opportunities to contribute to all aspects of client engagements. Team members will begin to assume an active ownership in running projects and mentoring more junior colleagues. The analytic rigor and creativity of our analysts’ work is critical to the success of our engagement teams and our practice as a whole. As PASS Analyst, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leveraging skills in Excel and SQL to yield trends, conclusions, and actionable recommendations for clients
• Contributing to internal brainstorming sessions and collaborating with account management team members throughout client engagements
• Evaluating secondary data on markets, physicians, patients, and pharmacies
• Developing and working with reporting tools such as PowerBI to derive insights and forecasting
• Coordinating both directly with clients as well as through the PSS account team to manage the analytics needs of the clients for both scheduled and ad hoc requests
• Creating reports, presentations and other client deliverables
• Presenting to client audiences via teleconference, videoconference, or in face-to-face meetings
• Building professional relationships with internal and external members of the client team
• Proactively developing knowledge of the healthcare industry and client engagement methodologies

Must have

• A strong analytical record, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong quantitative skills
• Exceptional communication skills and be a proven team contributor
• An interest in and desire to learn about the constantly evolving healthcare industry
• Good project management, time management and organizational skills
• Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral)
• Minimum of at least 3 years' experience in PowerPoint and Excel; PowerBI and/or SQL are a plus
• A willingness or ability to travel as needed (<10% on average)
