Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Technical Publications professional with 2–6 years of experience to create, revise, and maintain aerospace documentation. You will interpret engineering data, service bulletins, and drawings, and author using Arbortext Editor, FrameMaker, Contenta, SAP or similar tools.

Qualifications

• 2 to 6 years of experience in Technical Publications / Technical Authoring.
• Strong understanding of the Technical Publications lifecycle and documentation processes.
• Experience with authoring and publishing tools such as Arbortext Editor, FrameMaker, Contenta, SAP, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of XML/SGML structured authoring concepts.
• Familiarity with aerospace documentation standards such as S1000D, ATA/iSpec2200, ASD-STE100, or equivalent customer standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, technical specifications, and source data.
• Experience in configuration management, engineering change implementation, and impact analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in mentoring team members and supporting continuous improvement initiatives is preferred.
• BE/B.Tech (Aerospace/Aeronautical) or AME (Avionics/Mechanical) preferred.
• Experience in aerospace technical documentation is an advantage.
