Job summary

IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd) invites applications for an AME Trainee in the Maintenance team. The role focuses on following duty patterns, maintaining AME license validity, and complying with safety policies as per IndiGo SMS Manual.

You should hold 10+2 and AME Diploma, a valid CAT A license, and relevant aviation experience. Training and refresher programs will be provided; candidates must present in uniform and contribute to high technical dispatch.

Qualifications

• 10+2 and AME Diploma (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) required.
• Valid CAT A License.
• 12 months as Technician on A320/Boeing/ATR/Embraer aircraft OR More than 2 years as certifying staff in General Aviation.
• MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Follow duty pattern as advised to you including shift duties.
• Responsible to maintain AME license current.
• Be aware of and comply with safety responsibilities and accountabilities as laid down in the IndiGo SMS Manual, Chapter Safety Policy and Objectives.
• Undergo all trainings / refreshers as desired by the company.

Job Requirements

• Keep yourself updated with the day-to-day trouble shooting / certification of Aircraft components & systems.
• Monitor aircraft movements and ensure high technical dispatch.
• Guide technicians on maintenance activity and ensure quality & safety.
• Mentor your colleagues from time to time You shall follow all instructions given in MOE, TPM and other Aircraft Publications & instructions issued from time to time.
• Should be in full uniform & Presentable as per company guidelines at all times while on duty.
• Ensure implementation of Safety Policy and safety management system within indigo engineering.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager Line Maintenance.
