Company Description School for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (SAME), established in 2017 under InterGlobe Education Services, is a DGCA-approved, world-class AME training school offering ab-initio training in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. SAME is one of the few institutes in India to offer 120 seats for the CAR 147 Basic course with specializations in Category B1.1 (Aeroplane Turbine) and Category B2 (Avionics). Role Description The AME Instructor (B1.1/B2) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The instructor will deliver classroom and practical training for CAR 147 Basic courses, focusing on B1.1 (Aeroplane Turbine) and/or B2 (Avionics) syllabi, in line with DGCA and institutional standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching aircraft maintenance and systems concepts, supervising workshops and laboratory sessions, and guiding learners through troubleshooting and practical exercises. The instructor will assess student performance, conduct examinations and evaluations, maintain training records, and support curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching methods. Collaboration with other faculty, participation in academic meetings, and mentoring students on industry practices and professional conduct are integral to the role.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills and experience in Aircraft Maintenance, including hands-on maintenance practices and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Aircraft and Aircraft Systems, covering structures, propulsion, avionics, and related subsystems.
  • Strong instructional, communication, and classroom management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience in aviation training, technical education, or mentoring junior engineers is highly beneficial.
