Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Amazon Connect Engineer with strong contact center domain knowledge and hands‑on experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting cloud‑based contact center solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, APIs, and enterprise integrations, along with strong software development and troubleshooting capabilities.
The candidate will be responsible for building and supporting production‑grade Amazon Connect solutions and integrating the platform with enterprise applications such as SSO/Active Directory, CRM, case management, Workforce Management (WFM), and other contact center systems. The role requires strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and support Amazon Connect contact center solutions.
- Build and maintain solutions using Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, and other AWS services.
- Develop integrations between Amazon Connect and enterprise systems including SSO/Active Directory, CRM, case management, WFM, and other contact center platforms.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and other integration interfaces.
- Use programming or scripting languages such as Python or Node.js for custom development and automation.
- Participate in solution architecture, technical design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and contact center issues and provide root‑cause analysis.
- Collaborate with business, architecture, engineering, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable cloud‑based solutions.
- Follow established SDLC, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Support production implementations and ensure solutions meet enterprise security, performance, reliability, and scalability standards.
- Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with Amazon Connect and cloud‑based contact center solutions.
- Deep understanding of the contact center industry and related business processes.
- Hands‑on experience with Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, and AWS Lambda.
- Experience integrating contact center platforms with SSO/Active Directory, CRM, Case Management, WFM, and related enterprise applications.
- Strong experience working with APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Proficiency in at least one development/scripting language, preferably Python or Node.js.
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working on production implementations in large enterprise environments.
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience architecting, building, and supporting AWS cloud‑based solutions.
