Job summary

ValueLabs is seeking an experienced AWS Developer in Hyderabad, India, to design and implement Amazon Connect contact center solutions. You will develop serverless applications and build conversational AI solutions using Amazon Lex, while integrating with various enterprise systems.

Job description

Eligibility

8–10 years of overall IT experience. Minimum 3–5 years in AWS cloud development. Proven experience with Amazon Connect implementations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement Amazon Connect contact center solutions, including call flows, routing, and integrations.
• Develop and manage serverless applications using AWS Lambda (Python).
• Build and maintain conversational AI solutions using Amazon Lex (chatbots and IVR bots).
• Integrate Amazon Connect with CRM, ERP, and third‑party enterprise systems.
• Develop APIs and backend services using Python (Flask/FastAPI).
• Design and optimize end‑to‑end call/interaction workflows (voice, chat, omnichannel).
• Implement event‑driven architectures using AWS services (Lambda, SNS, SQS, Step Functions).
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance optimization of cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, X‑Ray).
• Follow best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization on AWS.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Core Skills - Strong hands‑on experience in Amazon Connect (Contact Flows, Routing, Lambda integration); Proficiency in Python development; Extensive experience with AWS Lambda (Serverless architecture); Expertise in Amazon Lex (chatbots / conversational AI).
• AWS & Cloud - Deep knowledge of the AWS ecosystem: API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Step Functions; Strong understanding of event‑driven and microservices architectures.
• Integration & Development - Experience in REST API development and integration; Experience integrating with enterprise applications (Salesforce, SAP, etc.); Familiarity with Webhooks, middleware, and messaging systems.
• Additional Skills (Good to Have) - Experience with Voice/Telephony systems (IVR, VoIP); Knowledge of Contact Center best practices; Exposure to AI/ML‑based conversational design; Experience with CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions); Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
