Prominentpixel in Surat, Gujarat, India seeks an experienced Amazon Connect & Lex Developer to design, develop, and support cloud-based contact center solutions on AWS. You will work with Connect, Lex, Lambda, and related services to build scalable customer engagement across voice and chat channels.

You will design Connect contact flows, implement Lex-based conversational AI, and develop Lambda functions for backend logic.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on Amazon Connect experience.
• Experience with Lex chatbot and voice bots.
• Strong knowledge of Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other AWS services.
• Proficiency in REST APIs and external integrations.
• Strong JavaScript/Node.js and Python skills.

Responsibilities

Amazon Connect & Amazon Lex Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Amazon Connect & Amazon Lex Developer to design, develop, and support cloud-based contact center solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, AWS Lambda, and related AWS services to build scalable customer engagement solutions across voice and chat channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Amazon Connect contact flows, routing strategies, queues, and agent configurations.
• Build and enhance conversational AI solutions using Amazon Lex for voice and chat interactions.
• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions for backend integrations and business logic.
• Integrate Amazon Connect and Amazon Lex with CRM systems, APIs, databases, and third-party applications.
• Configure and optimise IVR, chatbot, and omnichannel customer engagement solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to contact center applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and support activities.
• Follow best practices for security, scalability, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Amazon Connect.
• Experience developing chatbots and voice bots using Amazon Lex.
• Strong knowledge of AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, SES, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with REST APIs and third‑party system integrations.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, Python.
• Understanding of contact center operations, IVR design, and customer experience workflows.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Contact Lens, Customer Profiles, Tasks, Cases, or Campaigns.
• Knowledge of Salesforce, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or other CRM integrations.
• AWS certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Generative AI integrations within Amazon Connect and Amazon Lex.
