Job summary

Rehlko is hiring an Assistant Manager – Platform Lead to provide engineering support for gas and diesel generator systems across the product lifecycle. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
• 8+ years experience as Assistant Manager or similar in platform lead roles.
• Strong understanding of generator systems (gas/diesel) and testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed mechanical design of generator assemblies, modules, kits, options, and accessories.
• Apply knowledge of mechanical systems, generator architecture, and production processes to ensure robust, scalable designs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and cross-culturally to ensure alignment and quality in generator set designs.
• Apply working knowledge of SAP, CREO, CATIA, and Windchill in daily engineering activities.
• Participate in NPD meetings to understand project scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets, and communicate relevant information to local teams.
• Support Project Engineers and Analysts in delivering high-quality designs within project timelines with Quality work.
• Demonstrate understanding of generator system architecture and testing experience to support first time right design.

Responsible for managing CAD deliverables, creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), and supporting New Product Development (NPD) initiatives. Collaborate with domestic and international engineering teams, and interface with global stakeholders including purchasing and manufacturing to select components and define manufacturing methods. Drive Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives to improve product cost, quality, manufacturability, and performance.
