Job summary

SAI Life Sciences is seeking a Project Management professional in Shameerpet, Hyderabad, to lead complex CDMO projects from kickoff through closure. The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with R&D, tech transfer, QA/QC, and production teams, along with rigorous schedule tracking and customer updates.

Candidates should have a 6-year track record in science-based projects, PMP or MBA is preferred but not mandatory, and at least 4 years as a Program Manager in a CDMO environment. //

Qualifications

• M.Sc. (Chemistry) or Chemical Engineering; minimum 6 years in cross-functional settings.
• PMP certification and/or MBA preferred but not mandatory.
• At least 4 years as Program Manager in a reputed CDMO.

Responsibilities

• Kick off the awarded project on time.
• Prepare and update a comprehensive Gantt chart for delivery schedule.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (R&D, AR&D, Technology Transfer, Process Engineering, Production or Outsourcing) through meetings.
• Prepare and update action trackers for project activities.
• Send scheduled updates to the customer and BD.
• Schedule telcons/VC with customer and facilitate technical discussions.
• Highlight and escalate roadblocks to senior management.
• Ensure complete and timely project closure documentation and invoicing updates.

Key Responsibilities:

• To timely kick off the awarded project
• To timely prepare and update, comprehensive Gantt chart for the project delivery schedule
• Regularly coordinate with CFT comprising of PR&D, AR&D, PE, QA, QC, Production etc, through daily meetings as well as issue-based meetings
• To prepare and update the comprehensive action tracker for the project activities
• To send the prescheduled updates to the customer and BD
• To schedule the telcons / VC with customer and facilitate discussion between technical teams
• To highlight and escalatethe roadblocks or anticipated roadblocks to the senior management team
• To ensure complete and timely documentation on project closure
• To timely raise the invoice and update finance and BD of the same

• QUOTIF as per commitment
• Overall management of projects, project creeps and communications

Job specifications / pre-requisites:(Qualification, experience, any other specifications)

M.Sc. (Chemistry) or Chemical Engineering, with minimum 6 years experience working along with CFTs (PR&D, AR&D, Technology Transfer, Process Engineering, Production or Outsourcing) PMP certification and / or MBA desired but not must. Additionally, minimum 4 years experience as Program Manager with a reputed CDMO. Ideally API CDMO but can also be from formulation CDMO or least preferred from Clinical Research Organization.
