Job summary

PI Industries Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Management role to ensure end-to-end delivery of customer commitments from research through to dispatch.

The role requires leading cross-functional programs spanning research, technology transfer, pilot production, technical services, supply chain and operations. The ideal candidate will manage risk, coordinate multiple departments and drive on-time, within-budget delivery of commercial and new products, aligning with regulatory and quality

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Organic chemistry from a reputed university.
• PMP certification is preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of customer commitments from research through technology transfer and pilot production, technical services, supply chain, operations and dispatch.
• Lead cross-functional teams across research, tech transfer, pilot production, quality and supply chain to deliver on customer promises.
• Monitor milestones, budgets and timelines; identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Convene regular project reviews and coordinate across departments to resolve bottlenecks and respond to customer queries.

Role & responsibilities

The project management role will serve as the nodal point to ensure end to end delivery of customer commitments as per the timelines and quality expectations. Key responsibilities for this role includes end-to-end program management of the entire order fulfilment process from research through technology transfer and pilot production, technical services, supply chain, operations and dispatch using proprietary tools. Superimposed on a functional organization, this role will cut across organizational and functional silos to ensure delivery to customers as promised. The responsibilities include the delivery of commercial products and services and also new products and services to customer. A superior integration across the organization is the purpose of this role.

Strategic

• Bring smooth transition in program and delivery management through processes leading to industry best delivery management and systems excellence (PMBoK-Project/program management body of knowledge) while managing the quality and regulatory system frame work effectively
• Create integration excellence across various functions in the organization through systems and processes along with the desired soft skills to manage the complexity.
• Need to strategically focus on the risks and derive mitigation plans with the objectives of the organization and customer at the core.

Operational & Financial

• Planning, scheduling, tracking and monitoring of projects through its entire life cycle in coordination with various teams
• Convene regular meetings with relevant personnel to confirm the status of all projects; discuss projects which are behind schedule and reasons for the same; agree actions to remove bottlenecks to ensure successful customer order fulfilment
• Identification of critical paths and interdependencies and critical chains for each project/program and driving it across the organization
• Support Business development team in meeting and exceeding the demands of customers on product and service deliveries.
• Provide regular updates to Lead Delivery management on the status of customer orders against milestones, budgets and timelines and mitigation plans where necessary
• Alert Lead Delivery management to issues and risks requiring their urgent attention and action
• Co-ordinate across departments to respond effectively to customers queries and requests

Educational Qualification

• MSc or Ph. D in Organic chemistry from a reputed university (Essential)
• PMP Certification
