Job summary

Epicle Solutions is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Medical Coding to lead end-to-end ED coding operations in a fast-paced emergency care setting in Perungudi, Chennai. You will ensure accurate coding per ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers, while managing a team of coders to meet quality and TAT targets.

The role requires 7-12 years of ED coding experience, CPC/CCS/COC certification, and strong knowledge of E/M levels and denial management.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of ED coding guidelines and E/M levels.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle and denial management.
• Experience in ED, E/M process.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily ED medical coding operations (Facility & Professional).
• Ensure accurate coding as per ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers.
• Ensure compliance with payer guidelines, CMS regulations, and coding standards.
• Manage coder productivity, quality audits, and turnaround time (TAT).
• Address coding denials, rejections, and payer feedback related to ED claims.
• Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and revenue capture.
• Ensure adherence to client SLAs and internal quality benchmarks.
• Prepare MIS, dashboards, and performance records.
