Actalent Services is seeking an experienced PCB Layout Engineer to drive multilayer PCB design from concept through to mass production. You will create footprints, schematics, and parts in conformance with IPC standards, collaborating with MCAD and engineering teams to address DFx, EMI/EMC, and thermal performance.

The role requires 4–5 years of PCB design experience, strong Altium Designer skills, and a solid understanding of IPC guidelines.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or equivalent engineering qualification
• 4–5 years of relevant industry experience in PCB design, schematic design

Responsabilités

• Handle complete multilayer PCB layout from concept to mass production deliverables.
• Design PCB layouts, footprints and schematic symbols per IPC standards.
• Create and convert footprints (through-hole and SMD) and schematic symbols per IPC.
• Schematic design with part creation in concept HDL tool; library creation per IPC standards.
• Knowledge on DFx and IPC standards.
• Collaborate with MCAD team and understand MCAD constraints.
• Design high-speed layouts, EMI/EMC, signal integrity, thermal analysis and stack-up design.
• Handle manufacturing deliverables and respond to PCB fab queries.
• Support industrialization for jigs and fixtures; define PCB specs and drawings for glue & conformal coating.
• Manage PDM & BOM structuring and end-to-end project delivery.

Role & responsibilities

Job Description:

• Able to handle complete multilayer PCB layout activity from concept level to till release for mass production deliverables under defined corporate environment.
• Able to design PCB layouts, Footprints, Schematic symbols as per the designing standards laid by IPC standards.
• Should have good experience in creation and conversion of Footprints (Thru-hole and SMD) and schematic symbol as per IPC standard
• Schematic design with part creation in concept HDL tool, Library creation as per IPC standard
• Knowledge on DFx
• Working closely with MCAD team is must & knowing MCAD constraints is an added advantage.
• Hands on experience in designing high speed design, EMI/EMC, Signal Integrity , thermal analysis & stack up design
• Experience in handling Manufacturing deliverables + able to handle Engineering quires from PCB fab.
• Working closely with Industrialization team for providing inputs for Jigs and fixtures design.
• Sound knowledge on defining PCB specification, creating glue and conformal coating drawings & revision control
• Sound knowledge on PDM & BOM structuring.
• Candidate should able to handle project individually till the end of deliverables.
• Knowledge on IPC standards, component knowledge is must.
