Job summary

Airtel is recruiting for a Territory Manager (On-Roll) to be based in Chennai and Vellore. The role focuses on overseeing installation, fault repair, and service requests while leading field teams and maintaining high service quality.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of telecom/broadband experience, strong communication, and vendor management skills. This is a field-based position requiring travel to customer sites and adherence to Airtel SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in Telecom/Broadband/Fiber/Wi-Fi operations.
• Strong field operations and team coordination experience.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Vendor/partner management experience preferred.
• Willingness to work in field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor Installation, Shifting, Reactivation & Fault Repair activities.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer service requests as per SLA/TAT.
• Coordinate Wiremen, Engineers and field teams.
• Monitor team productivity and KPIs/targets.
• Ensure quality installation and minimize repeat/re-open complaints.
• Handle customer escalations and coordinate with internal teams for faster resolution.
• Monitor field-team performance through Airtel work platforms/apps.
• Adhere to Airtel processes, SOP, safety and quality standards.
• Conduct regular audits and prepare productivity/performance reports.
• Identify process improvements to improve customer experience and service quality.
• Drive Serve-to-Sell / product pitching through field teams.
• Train and guide field resources for better productivity and service delivery.
