Job summary

Zartek Technologies Private Limited in Kalamassery, Kerala is seeking a video content creator to produce assets end-to-end using AI generation tools and traditional editing. • Demonstrable use of AI video generation tools with a showreel or portfolio.
• Real editing fundamentals: cut timing, pacing, sound design, typography.
• Portfolio with finished pieces, not just raw generations.

Responsibilities

• Generate and edit video using AI tools—text-to-video, image-to-video, AI voice, dubbing, avatars.
• Write prompts, iterate, and decide when to shoot or edit conventionally.
• Finish and polish in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut—color, sound, captions, pacing.
• Produce format variants for 9:16 reels, 1:1, 16:9 YouTube, and ad cuts.
• Collaborate with marketing to align video goals (install, signup, awareness) and brand alignment.
• Adapt content across GCC, European, and Indian markets; manage asset library.
• Stay updated on new models/tools and evaluate worthiness for production use.

About Zartek

Zartek Technologies is a product engineering company at Kinfra Hi-Tech Park, Kalamassery. We build mobile apps, web platforms, and AI-powered products for clients across India, the GCC, Europe, Africa, and Australia. We're building an in-house video capability so our own brand and our clients' brands can ship high-quality video at a pace traditional production can't match.

The role

You’ll produce video content end to end using AI generation tools alongside conventional editing — ads, product explainers, social reels, launch videos, and brand films. Some of it is for Zartek's own products; most is for client campaigns that run on Google and Meta.

This is a new function here. You’ll have unusual freedom to define how it works, and unusual responsibility for whether it works.

What you’ll do

• Generate and edit video using AI tools — text-to-video and image-to-video models, AI voice and dubbing, AI avatars, generative image tools for stills and assets
• Write prompts, iterate on them, and know when to abandon a generation and shoot or edit conventionally instead
• Finish and polish in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut — colour, sound, captions, pacing
• Produce format variants for each campaign: 9:16 reels, 1:1 feed, 16:9 YouTube, and ad-spec cutdowns
• Work with the marketing team on what the video needs to do — install, signup, awareness — and build to that, not just to look good
• Adapt content across languages and markets for GCC, European, and Indian audiences
• Maintain an organised library of assets, prompts, and reusable templates
• Keep pace with new models and tools, and tell us honestly which ones are worth paying for

What we’re looking for

• 0–2 years of experience — internships, freelance work, client projects, or a serious personal body of work all count
• Demonstrable hands‑on use of AI video generation tools. We care what you’ve made, not which courses you’ve done
• Real editing fundamentals: cut timing, pacing, sound design, typography. AI generates clips; it doesn’t make them into a video
• A showreel or portfolio with finished pieces, not just raw generations
• Good visual judgement — you should be able to look at your own output and say what’s wrong with it
• Comfortable working to a brief and to a deadline, across several client brands at once

Nice to have

• Motion graphics and After Effects skills
• Copywriting for short‑form video — hooks, scripts, captions
• Understanding of what performs in paid social versus organic
• Photography, illustration, or 3D background
• Malayalam, Hindi, or Arabic content experience
