Mergen Compass is seeking an entrepreneurial AI Transformation Lead to build, commercialise, and deliver AI-enabled consulting and digital-product solutions for enterprises, startups, public-sector organisations and ecosystem partners. You will own opportunities from discovery through to delivery, launch, adoption, and continuous improvement.

You will drive AI use-cases end-to-end, own the roadmap, delivery, and go-to-market, shaping how clients sell, serve customers, and operate.

Qualifications

Mergen Compass is seeking an entrepreneurial, client-facing AI Transformation Lead to build, commercialise and deliver AI-enabled consulting and digital-product solutions for enterprises, startups, public-sector organisations and ecosystem partners.

The role is to drive AI use-cases end-to-end i.e. owning the roadmap, delivery, and go-to-market that turn high-value use cases into measurable impact across how the client sells, serves it's customers, and operates.

The successful candidate will own opportunities from discovery and commercial closure through solution definition, delivery, launch, adoption and continuous improvement.

Mergen Compass provides practical, data-driven and execution-focused consulting support across growth strategy, market entry, business transformation, digital products and implementation. The firm works with corporates, startups and public-sector organisations across India, the Middle East and international markets.

Key Responsibilties

• Own the AI transformation roadmap for the clients, prioritizing use cases, and driving consensus across key stakeholders on the same.
• Translate opportunities into clearly scoped initiatives with defined success metrics, owners, and timelines.
• Maintain a sharp view of the client's priorities, ensuring AI initiatives are sequenced against the problems that matter most.

AI Product Delivery

• Drive the end-to-end delivery of AI products and agents - spanning conversational and voice agents, AI-generated client narratives, and internal/external productized tools - from build through testing, go-live, and iteration.
• Run disciplined launch governance, including mandatory Go/No-Go decisions, milestone calendaring, and structured course-correction when risks surface.
• Set and hold quality and performance bars (e.g. accuracy targets, latency, conversation quality) and define the test cases and acceptance criteria required for go-live.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to unblock delivery, and manage external AI vendors and partners against scope, cost, and quality.
• Go-to-Market & Client Rollout
• Design and execute the GTM for AI products - defining target segments, decision-maker outreach, launch sequencing, and enablement.
• Build the supporting assets and operating model for rollout: sales scripts, communication templates, support flows, manuals, and beta framing.
• Coordinate sales leaders, business consultants, and client-facing teams through structured testing and launch and establish feedback loops to capture qualitative and quantitative outcomes from clients.
• Cross-Functional Leadership
• Act as the connective layer across Strategy, Product, Engineering, Commercial, and external partners, aligning them around shared goals and timelines.
• Influence and align senior stakeholders, sequencing the right people into the right decisions at the right time.
• Coach and direct junior team members and contributors supporting AI workstreams, raising the bar on execution quality across the group.

Desired Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in a high-performance environment (top-tier consulting + strategy, product, or AI/technology), with a track record of shipping initiatives to outcomes.
• Prior work in software engineering is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, cross-functional projects end-to-end - structuring ambiguous problems, driving execution, and managing risk and stakeholders to a result.
• Strong fluency with applied AI - practical understanding of LLMs, agents, and AI product workflows - and the judgment to know where AI does and does not create value.
• Experience driving go-to-market or commercial rollout, ideally with client-facing or sales stakeholders.
• Comfort with data: able to define metrics, work with data to diagnose and decide, and build a compelling, insight-led business case.
• Excellent storytelling and executive communication — able to build crisp narratives and presentations for senior and executive audiences.
• Ability to work with and influence people at all levels of the organization, and to direct or coach others on delivery.
