Job summary

NIIT Foundation in Bengaluru is seeking a Data Analytics Trainer to deliver classroom and online sessions on Excel, SQL, Power BI, and basic Python to aspiring students.

You will implement the curriculum, assess learning through tests, and facilitate hands-on projects while mentoring students and guiding them toward successful placements. The role also includes tracking attendance and batch management to ensure smooth training operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Data Analytics, Computer Science, IT, Statistics, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel, Pivot Tables, dashboards, and formulas.
• Experience with Power BI and Tableau.
• Basic Python knowledge preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Training Delivery: Conduct classroom and/or online sessions on Data Analytics modules, including Excel, SQL, Power BI, and basic Python.
• Curriculum Implementation: Deliver training as per the prescribed curriculum, ensuring timely completion of modules and alignment with industry standards.
• Student Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments, assignments, and mock tests to evaluate student progress and learning outcomes.
• Hands-on Learning: Facilitate practical sessions, case studies, and real-world projects to enhance applied learning.
• Student Mentorship & Support: Provide individual support to students for doubt resolution, career guidance, and interview preparation.
• Attendance & Batch Management: Monitor student attendance, ensure discipline, and maintain batch performance records.
• Placement Readiness: Prepare students for placements through resume building, mock interviews, and soft skills integration.
• Coordination & Reporting: Maintain training records, submit MIS reports, and coordinate with centre managers and placement teams.
