Citigroup Inc. is seeking a Vice President for AI Technology Engagement & Delivery to join the Client Organisation AI Lead team. This role blends programme coordination with hands-on PoCs, data analysis, and solution assessment to support Citi's AI agenda across credits, marketing, research, and client delivery.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of experience in product management, programme delivery, technology delivery, data analysis, or business analysis – ideally with exposure to AI for technology transformation initiatives within financial services.

Responsibilities

• Analyse AI use cases to identify foundational requirements, assess solution design, and surface reuse opportunities that improve delivery efficiency across the programme
• Coordinate day-to-day delivery across multiple AI and technology workstreams and associated technology initiatives, managing dependencies and milestones keeping the projects moving forward
• Translate business needs into clearly structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that technology and delivery teams can act on directly
• Provide data analysis and visualisation to support technical assessments, programme reporting, and senior-level presentations – driving data informed decision making
• Maintain governance practicalities of the AI Lead team, including tracking actions, updating decision documentation, and ensuring controls records are accurate and current
• Build and sustain trusted working relationships with stakeholders across business, technology, risk, and control functions, maintaining clear communication on programme status, issues, risks, while providing value
• Monitor adherence to compliance and control procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, supporting the implementation of business-specific controls across the programme

Citi is looking for a Vice President, AI Technology Engagement & Delivery to join the Client Organisation AI Lead team — a group that directly supports revenue growth managing Credit, Marketing, Research, Client Delivery, and Ventures on behalf of Citi's businesses. In this technically focused role, you will combine programme coordination with hands‑on technical proofs of concept , data analysis and solution assessment - supporting the evaluation of AI use cases, the review of solution design, and the translation of business needs into clear, actionable requirements. Sitting at the intersection of technology, data, and financial services, this position offers direct exposure to Citi's AI agenda and the senior leaders shaping it.

In this role, you’re expected to:

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Five to ten years of experience in product management, programme delivery, technology delivery, data analysis, or business analysis – ideally with exposure to AI for technology transformation initiatives within financial services.

• Technical and data expertise spanning data flows and associated infrastructure, with the ability to review solution designs, evaluate AI use cases for requirement definitions, and identify reuse potential.

• Foundational knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with an understanding of how these technologies are applied to redesign and improve business processes in financial services contexts.

• Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation, with the ability to produce clear, evidence-based outputs that inform programme decisions.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, for delivering impactful presentations and reports to senior audiences.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and engage effectively with stakeholders from working-level teams through to senior management.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience supporting AI, data, or technology initiatives within a complex, cross-functional organisation.

• Awareness of AI use cases and solutions developed across the financial services industry, including exposure to how different teams approach AI delivery and adoption.

• Familiarity with the emerging technology landscape, with the ability to assess the relevance of new tools and approaches in a structured, evidence-based way.

• Experience negotiating with or coordinating external parties such as technology vendors or third-party delivery partners.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
• MBA or CFA or CA preferred
