In this role, you’re expected to
- Analyse AI use cases to identify foundational requirements, assess solution design, and surface reuse opportunities that improve delivery efficiency across the programme
- Coordinate day-to-day delivery across multiple AI and technology workstreams and associated technology initiatives, managing dependencies and milestones keeping the projects moving forward.
- Translate business needs into clearly structured requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that technology and delivery teams can act on directly.
- Provide data analysis and visualisation to support technical assessments, programme reporting, and senior-level presentations – driving data informed decision making
- Maintain governance practicalities of the AI Lead team, including tracking actions, updating decision documentation, and ensuring controls records are accurate and current.
- Build and sustain trusted working relationships with stakeholders across business, technology, risk, and control functions, maintaining clear communication on programme status, issues, risks, while providing value.
- Monitor adherence to compliance and control procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, supporting the implementation of business-specific controls across the programme.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure
- Five to ten years of experience in product management, programme delivery, technology delivery, data analysis, or business analysis – ideally with exposure to AI for technology transformation initiatives within financial services.
- Technical and data expertise spanning data flows and associated infrastructure, with the ability to review solution designs, evaluate AI use cases for requirement definitions, and identify reuse potential.
- Foundational knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with an understanding of how these technologies are applied to redesign and improve business processes in financial services contexts.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation, with the ability to produce clear, evidence-based outputs that inform programme decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, for delivering impactful presentations and reports to senior audiences.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and engage effectively with stakeholders from working-level teams through to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting AI, data, or technology initiatives within a complex, cross-functional organisation.
- Awareness of AI use cases and solutions developed across the financial services industry, including exposure to how different teams approach AI delivery and adoption.
- Familiarity with the emerging technology landscape, with the ability to assess the relevance of new tools and approaches in a structured, evidence-based way.
- Experience negotiating with or coordinating external parties such as technology vendors or third-party delivery partners.
Education
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
- MBA or CFA or CA preferred
