Copilot Ecosystem Expertise Hands-on experience building business solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Copilot Cowork.

Financial Services Domain — Prior experience in banking, financial services, asset management, or investment operations is strongly preferred.

Business-Focused Solution Development — Ability to understand business challenges and translate requirements into practical, user-friendly AI solutions.

Microsoft Certifications — Relevant Microsoft certifications or applied-skills credentials covering Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 Copilot, or Azure AI are strongly preferred.

APIs and Connectors — Experience integrating AI solutions with applications, workflows, and data sources using APIs and standard or custom connectors.

Responsible AI and Governance — Familiarity with AI governance, security, privacy, access controls, human oversight, and responsible AI practices.

Build, Extension, and Testing — Ability to configure low-code solutions, add targeted custom code, and systematically test and troubleshoot end-to-end functionality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Extend solutions with targeted custom code where needed, without requiring full-stack application development
• Develop prototypes and production-ready solutions in collaboration with business, data, and engineering teams
• Test functionality, integrations, permissions, response quality, edge cases, and acceptance criteria; troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Support deployment, documentation, user adoption, and continuous improvement while following applicable security and responsible AI standards

PRIMARY SKILLS — MANDATORY

• Copilot Ecosystem: Hands-on experience building business solutions with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Copilot Cowork.
• AI Solution Development: Ability to configure agents, prompts, knowledge sources, actions, and workflows.
• APIs and Connectors: Experience integrating enterprise systems using REST APIs and standard or custom connectors.
• Business Analysis: Ability to understand business processes and translate requirements into structured solutions and acceptance criteria.
• Custom Extensions: Ability to use targeted scripting or custom code to extend solutions; full-stack development is not required.
• Generative AI: Understanding of prompting, grounding, knowledge retrieval, tool use, orchestration, and common AI limitations.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Experience testing functionality, integrations, permissions, response quality, and exception scenarios.
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to work independently with business stakeholders and collaborate with data and engineering teams.
• Communication and Documentation: Strong written and verbal communication, with clear requirements, designs, test evidence, and user documentation.

SECONDARY SKILLS — DESIRABLE

• Experience in financial services, asset management, investment operations, or another regulated industry.
• Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, Azure AI, or related Microsoft technologies.
• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, PowerShell, or a similar language.
• Awareness of responsible AI, security, privacy, access controls, and human oversight.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, Jira, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol and enterprise integration patterns.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technology or business discipline.
