Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Solution Architect to design and lead AI/ML initiatives on Google Cloud Platform.

You will architect scalable data pipelines, guide prototyping, deployment, and monitoring, and collaborate with data engineers and scientists to translate business needs into practical cloud solutions. The role requires hands-on GCP experience, strong data engineering skills, and proficiency in Python and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML solution architecture, with at least 2 years on GCP.
• Hands-on experience with GCP AI/ML services (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, AutoML, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of data engineering (ETL, data lakes, data warehousing) on GCP.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn is a plus.
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, and model deployment on GCP.
• Familiarity with GCP security, IAM, and cost management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.) is a plus.
