NRD Tech is seeking a QA specialist who will leverage AI to generate test plans from specs, build Playwright suites, and spot failure modes our developers might miss. You’ll read specs, design test matrices, and drive coverage across web apps and APIs.

This on-site role in Coimbatore requires 0–4 years QA or testing experience, comfort with JavaScript/TypeScript, and clear English reporting. Expect hands-on testing, exploration, and collaboration with engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• 0 4 years of QA, testing, or software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools to assist testing generating test cases, writing test scripts with Cursor/Claude, or similar.
• Solid understanding of test fundamentals: equivalence partitioning, boundary analysis, regression strategy.
• Comfort reading code (JavaScript/TypeScript) youll need to follow what developers built before you can break it well.
• Excellent written and spoken English sharp bug reports are half the job.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site at our Coimbatore office (no remote, no hybrid).

QA at NRD Tech isnt ticket-clicking. Youll use AI to generate test plans from specs, write Playwright suites by directing agents, and spot the failure modes our developers didnt think of. If youre a sharp tester whos curious about AI this role is built for you.

What youll do

• Hands-on with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Postman/REST API testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines youve watched tests run on GitHub Actions or similar.
• A bug-bounty or open-source testing contribution.
• Curiosity about how utility-operations or B2B software actually gets used.

What a day might look like

• Read a new feature spec and brief an agent to draft the test matrix; sharpen it with the cases the agent missed.
• Generate Playwright tests with Cursor; run them locally; fix the flaky ones before they hit CI.
• Pair with a developer on a tricky bug you reproduce it, they fix it, you verify the fix doesnt break anything else.
• Spend 30 minutes doing pure exploratory testing no script, just the product, looking for what doesnt feel right.
• Share a new prompting pattern in the teams weekly knowledge-share.

This role is full-time and 100% on-site at our Coimbatore office. We dont do remote work, hybrid days, or work-from-home. The pace of learning were after only happens when smart people sit in the same room.
