Job summary

Franklin Templeton is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join the AI Platform and AI Investment Group in India. You will automate deployments, build CI/CD, manage scalable model-serving infrastructure, and work across security, data science, and architecture teams.

The role emphasizes reliability, cost optimization, incident leadership, and governance in a regulated environment. A strong background in cloud, Kubernetes, IaC, and ML ops is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of platform engineering experience.
• Production experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Machine Learning Operations.
• Experience supporting regulated or audit-controlled environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Automate platform deployments and environment provisioning.
• Build Infrastructure as Code for shared AI services.
• Operate reliable model-serving and inference platforms.
• Manage capacity, scaling, releases, and rollbacks.
• Implement monitoring, tracing, alerting, and dashboards.

Experience, Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of platform engineering experience.

• Experience supporting regulated or audit‑controlled environments is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Cloud infrastructure, containers, Kubernetes, and orchestration.
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery automation.

• Large Language Model deployment or MCP, monitoring, and cost management.
