Albemarle Corporation in Bengaluru, India is seeking an AI Operations Analyst to join the enterprise AI team. The role is hybrid and focuses on developing and supporting AI-powered applications across the organization, with emphasis on GenAI, RAG, and AI workflow orchestration.

You will work with IT, HR, Finance, SAP, Workday, and other enterprise platforms to ensure reliable AI solutions, production support, and continuous improvement of services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology, or Data Analytics.
• 2–4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Automation, AI/ML domain.
• Demonstrated interest in transitioning into AI/Generative AI development with coursework, projects or certifications.
• Strong knowledge of chatbot operations, conversational AI optimization, prompt engineering, and knowledge management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing GenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic solutions including prompt engineering and context management.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, groundedness, and UX.
• Analyze prompts, knowledge sources, and user feedback to identify improvements.
• Support incident management, production issues, and integration failures across AI and enterprise apps.

This position is hybrid and located at Bengaluru, India.**Job Description**We are seeking a motivated and technically curious **AI Operations Analyst** to join our enterprise AI team and contribute to the development, enhancement, integration, and support of AI-powered applications across the organization.We are looking for someone with a strong technical foundation, demonstrated interest in AI, and academic, certification-based, project-based, or practical knowledge of **Data Science, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or related technologies**.In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between business users, IT teams, AI platform owners, and enterprise application teams to ensure AI solutions deliver reliable, accurate, secure, and business-aligned outcomes. Part of your on-the-job responsibilities would be production support, incident management, performance monitoring, analytics, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of enterprise AI services.You will work closely with stakeholders across IT, HR, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Shared Services, SAP, Workday, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise platforms to drive AI adoption, improve user experience, and maximize business value.**What You Will Do*** Assist in developing GenAI, **Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)**, Agentic solutions involving prompt engineering, grounding, context management, structured responses, document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, semantic/vector search, retrieval, response generation, AI workflow orchestration, etc.* Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, groundedness, completeness, and user experience.* Analyze prompts, conversation flows, knowledge sources, retrieval results, and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.* Assist with building evaluation datasets, test cases and repeatable methods for measuring AI solution quality.* Identify opportunities to improve AI solutions through better prompts, retrieval techniques, knowledge content, integration, automation and application design.* Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, production issues, and integration failures across AI and connected enterprise applications.· Be an active team player and participate in building prototypes and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to evaluate new AI technologies and translate promising concepts into enterprise solutions.**What You Bring****Required:****Education*** Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.**Experience*** 2-4 years of experience in either Data Analytics, Automation, AI/ML domain.* Demonstrated interest in transitioning into AI / Generative AI development, supported by coursework, certifications, personal or professional projects, prototypes, hackathons, or other hands-on learning.* Strong knowledge of chatbot operations, conversational AI optimization, prompt engineering, AI response tuning, and knowledge (KBA) management.* Working knowledge of Python or another programming language, with willingness to develop strong Python skills.* Working knowledge of SQL, data structures, data preparation, APIs, JSON, or related data/integration concepts.* Familiarity with Azure ML, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure DevOps, Power Platform, and the broader Microsoft AI ecosystem.* Experience in analyzing technical problems, working with data, troubleshoot issues, driving self-service adoption, chatbot containment improvements, user experience enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.* Good stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working across global business and technical teams.* Relevant certifications in AI, Analytics, Cloud Technologies, Microsoft Platforms, or ITIL Foundation are preferred.**Benefits of Joining Albemarle*** Competitive compensation* Comprehensive benefits package* A diverse array of resources to support you professionally and personally.We are partners to one another in pioneering new ways to be better for ourselves, our teams, and our communities.
