Job summary

UST in India is seeking a Software Engineer with strong AI, LLM, and GCP skills to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions. The role focuses on AI-driven application development, LLM integration, and scalable cloud-native architectures on Google Cloud.

You will contribute to secure AI deployment practices, data privacy controls, and governance while delivering reliable, scalable AI platforms that support business needs.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in software engineering and AI solution development.
• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Generative AI, transformer architectures, embeddings, and modern NLP techniques.
• Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud-native development.
• Experience implementing AI security, governance, and data privacy controls in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI-powered applications leveraging modern LLM technologies.
• Integrate commercial and open-source LLM APIs into enterprise applications.
• Build agentic AI workflows enabling multi-step reasoning, tool usage, and autonomous decisions.
• Develop and optimize prompt engineering strategies for quality, reliability, and security.
• Implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations.
• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions with vector databases and semantic search.
• Design scalable, secure cloud-native architectures for AI workloads on GCP.
• Deploy AI solutions on GCP using enterprise cloud services and AI platforms.
• Ensure AI security, governance, and data privacy compliance.
• Contribute to software engineering best practices including testing, debugging, and version control.
