Job summary

Santriya Technologies is seeking an AI-Enabled Inventory Controller to protect inventory accuracy and availability using WMS controls, cycle counting and AI-assisted anomaly detection across warehouses or product locations.

You will monitor inventory balances, perform cycle counts, and manage stock adjustments while leveraging AI-driven insights to prevent discrepancies and optimize stock availability.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and cycle counting.
• Ability to validate AI outputs against authoritative data sources.
• Knowledge of inventory control, shrinkage, and loss prevention processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory balances, movements, allocations, holds and discrepancies.
• Use AI anomaly alerts to prioritize counts and investigations against physical stock.
• Plan and execute cycle counts with documented root causes and approvals.
• Control stock adjustments, quarantine, damaged, returned and obsolete inventory.
• Investigate shrinkage and location errors with warehouse and loss-prevention teams.
• Maintain item/location master data and stock status rules.
• Produce inventory reports and support replenishment and health reviews.

Job description

• Santriya Technologies is seeking an AI-Enabled Inventory Controller to protect inventory accuracy and availability using WMS controls, cycle counting and AI-assisted anomaly detection across warehouses or product locations.
• Product & documentation operating model: You will be assigned one or more company products, client solutions or operational services.
• The approved product documentation, SOPs, policies, process maps, knowledge articles, release notes, controls, scripts and AI runbooks are the source of truth.
• Use only approved enterprise AI tools to retrieve, summarize, draft, classify, prioritize or automate work.
• Validate material AI outputs against current documentation and authoritative system data, record exceptions, and elevate conflicts or missing guidance.
• Do not invent product features, prices, customer entitlements, engineering limits, regulatory positions or safety instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor inventory balances, movements, allocations, holds, ageing and discrepancies.
• Use AI anomaly alerts to prioritize counts and investigations, verifying against physical stock and transaction history.
• Plan and execute cycle counts and reconciliations with documented root causes and approvals.
• Control stock adjustments, quarantine, damaged, returned and obsolete inventory.
• Investigate shrinkage, mis-picks, location errors and process leakage with warehouse and loss-prevention teams.
• Maintain item/location master data and stock status rules.
• Support replenishment, allocation and inventory health reviews.
• Produce accurate inventory reports and escal ate material control failures.
• AI-enabled ways of working:
• Use approved GenAI copilots, enterprise search/RAG, analytics and workflow agents to reduce repetitive work and improve decision preparation.
• Keep prompts, outputs and automated actions within approved data-access, confidentiality and retention rules.
• Correct inaccurate summaries, classifications or recommendations before they become customer, operational or system records.
• Feed recurring AI errors, knowledge gaps and process friction into product, documentation and control improvement.
• Human accountability: AI is a copilot, not the accountable decision-maker.
• The role holder remains responsible for judgement, quality, privacy, security and appropriate escalation.
• Credit, fraud blocking, legal/regulatory, financial advice, safety-critical, clinical, employment and other high-impact decisions must follow delegated authority and required human review.
