Job summary

Google Finance is undergoing an AI-native transformation led by an AI Strategy Lead who will act as a senior advisor to leadership and coordinate global stakeholders. You will bridge Google's core AI teams (e.g., DeepMind, Cloud, Core) with the Finance organization to align AI priorities into a cohesive roadmap and scale into enterprise-ready AI products for external customers.

You will influence cross-functional teams and guide development efforts to deliver impactful AI solutions within Google

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding in Python/SQL, querying databases or statistical analysis.
• Experience programming in Python, Java, Scala, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Build developer frameworks to accelerate BI development lifecycle and solutions.
• Design reusable skills, agents, and procedures at AI Platform level across projects for technical and finance stakeholders.
• Partner with DeepMind, Cloud, Core to align Finance AI priorities into a cohesive roadmap.
• Define Finance technical requirements and ship outcomes serving internal and external customers.
• Develop scalable SaaS products decoupled from internal dependencies.

• Experience programming in one of the general programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, C++.
• Experience building agentic workflows (e.g., orchestrating prompt engineering, state/context management, and utilizing Agent Development Kits/frameworks).
• Experience in Python and SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience defining technical standards and managing cross functional roadmaps across teams.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with a proven ability to navigate ambiguity, influence global leadership, and act as a bridge between core AI researchers, engineers, and non-technical business leaders.
• Extensive experience architecting scalable enterprise AI solutions and Generative AI pipelines including Google's AI technology stack.
• Proven track record of building multi-tenant SaaS products, modern cloud data platforms, and BI frameworks that reduce technical debt and accelerate developer velocity.
• Deep understanding of corporate finance processes and data products, with hands‑on experience integrating complex legacy financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Build developer frameworks to accelerate and improve the Business Intelligence (BI) development lifecycle and solutions.
• Help design and build highly reusable, complex skills, agents, and procedures at the AI Platform level that can be leveraged across multiple projects and by both technical developers and non-technical finance stakeholders.
• Act as a strategic zeroth Finance customer for Deepmind technology, partnering with core engineering teams on early-stage design, usability, and architecture to ensure new features are optimized for complex, real-world deployment scenarios.
• Act as connective tissue between Finance AI developer, CorpEng, Deepmind and Cloud to define Finance technical requirements, aligning cross-organizational roadmaps, resolving ambiguity, and shipping outcomes that serve both internal and external customers.
• Develop scalable, maintainable internal and external Software as a Service (SaaS) products decoupled from internal dependencies.
