Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer I to support OpenAI adoption and platform operations across Client 0 and lighthouse clients. The role focuses on day-to-day execution of ChatGPT Enterprise, Codex, and API adoption.

You will develop AI-enhanced workflows, dashboards, templates, and playbooks, transforming repetitive tasks into scalable assets while improving adoption metrics and platform usage.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in analytics, platform operations, process improvement, technology programs, or business operations.
• Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, reporting, KPI tracking, and dashboard development.
• Experience with process improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, ITIL, or operational excellence.
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and coordinate program execution.
• Willingness to become hands-on with ChatGPT, Codex, APIs, automation, and agentic workflows.
• Experience creating SOPs, user guides, dashboards, and leadership reports.

Job Summary

The Forward Deployment Engineer I will support HCLTech’s OpenAI adoption and platform operations agenda across Client 0 and selected external lighthouse clients, including BSWH and Cummins.

This role is grounded in the day-to-day execution of ChatGPT Enterprise, Codex, and API adoption. The individual will help manage platform operations, user activation, adoption analytics, enablement coordination, reporting, and workflow improvement.

This is not a traditional analyst role. The individual is expected to operate as an AI-native builder who uses ChatGPT, Codex, automation tools, dashboards, and lightweight agents to perform their own work in new ways. The role will continuously identify manual adoption activities and convert them into AI-assisted workflows, dashboards, templates, playbooks, and reusable operating assets.

The role is primarily measured on adoption execution, platform usage, DAU/WAU improvement, Codex activation, operational discipline, and the ability to convert repeated work into scalable assets.

Key Responsibilities

• 1–2 years of experience in analytics, platform operations, process improvement, technology programs, or business operations.
• Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, reporting, KPI tracking, and dashboard development.

Skill Requirements

• Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, SQL, Python, or lightweight automation.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT, Codex, OpenAI APIs, copilots, or enterprise AI tools.
• Basic understanding of SSO, SCIM, RBAC, access governance, and data security.
• Experience supporting adoption, enablement, training, change management, or reporting programs.
• Experience creating SOPs, user guides, dashboards, and leadership reports.
