AI Developer

Enterprise AI Agents, Copilots & Automation

Position Summary

We are looking for a hands-on AI Developer to design, build, test, deploy, and support enterprise AI agents, copilots, and AI-driven automation solutions for internal business transformation and operational efficiency. Working under the direction of the AI Tech Lead, the role will convert business use cases and prototypes into secure, governed, reliable, reusable, and production-ready solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, data, platform, and security standards.

Role Purpose

• Deliver safe and pragmatic AI solutions for individual, team, and enterprise use cases.
• Help move AI ideas and prototypes into production-ready, certified, and supportable capabilities.
• Enable reuse and standardization through common frameworks, templates, components, and integration patterns.
• Ensure AI solutions use governed data, controlled access, traceable changes, and defined trust levels.

Key Result Areas

• Build and release AI agents, copilots, and workflow automation that improve productivity and operational efficiency.
• Industrialize prototypes through appropriate testing, monitoring, evaluation, versioning, documentation, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the AI team, business users, and technical stakeholders to refine use cases, acceptance criteria, data needs, and integration requirements.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI agents, copilots, conversational experiences, and AI-driven workflow automation.
• Implement prompt and configuration management, orchestration, RAG and grounding patterns, API integrations, and enterprise workflow connections.
• Apply source control, code review, automated testing, CI/CD, release management, secure development, and technical documentation practices.
• Implement lifecycle controls for monitoring, evaluation, versioning, rollback, traceability, incident response, and operational support.
• Investigate defects, troubleshoot incidents, optimize reliability, performance and cost, and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Apply responsible AI, security, privacy, access control, and data-governance requirements throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Create reusable frameworks, templates, integration patterns, runbooks, examples, and support documentation.
• Support demonstrations, user onboarding, adoption, production handover, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Data Governance, Platform, Security, and support teams to meet enterprise standards and guardrails.

Tools & Technology Experience

Required Qualifications

• Masters/bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Overall, 5+ years of experience and 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, automation, data engineering, or applied AI delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI agents, LLMs, RAG, conversational AI, or AI-enabled workflow automation.
• Proficiency in Python or another modern programming language and experience with APIs, SDKs, Git-based workflows, testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications or internal AI solutions in production environments.
• Understanding of monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, secure development, responsible AI, and controlled data access.
• Ability to translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to train, coach and share technical knowledge across a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI services, enterprise search, vector databases, and cloud-native delivery.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise collaboration, productivity, identity, data, and workflow platforms.
• Knowledge of AI governance, security, privacy, model risk, evaluation frameworks, & observability.
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation through AI enablement and operational automation.
• Experience in aviation or another highly operational industry is an advantage.
• Spanish and/or French is an asset.
