Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a capable engineer to support the deployment of Generative AI solutions in customer environments. You will work with senior engineers to translate designs into functioning implementations, ensuring reliability and quality.

The role requires hands-on coding, API work, and integration tasks across cloud ecosystems. You will contribute to building RAG pipelines, agent workflows, and orchestration layers, while participating in testing, debugging, and monitoring activities.

Qualifications

• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Familiarity with Generative AI/LLM concepts.

Job description

Support deployment of Generative AI and agentic solutions in customer environments by executing defined tasks across integration, testing, and stabilization. Work closely with senior engineers to translate solution designs into working implementations, ensuring adherence to standards, reliability, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Support customer deployments by executing assigned tasks across pilot and production phases
• Implement defined components for AI solutions including APIs, workflows, and integrations
• Assist in building and configuring RAG pipelines, agent workflows, and orchestration layers under guidance
• Execute testing, validation, and basic evaluation of GenAI solutions using provided frameworks
• Monitor system performance and support issue identification and resolution
• Work with data, APIs, and platform components to ensure smooth system integration
• Follow established practices for safety, governance, and responsible AI implementation
• Document implementation steps, configurations, and known issues for reuse
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, platform, support) for execution tasks
• Support debugging and troubleshooting in production and non-production environments

Skill Requirements

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, and system integration
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• Exposure to Generative AI / LLM concepts
• Strong problem-solving and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills for team collaboration

Other Requirements

• Exposure to OpenAI / Azure OpenAI or similar APIs
• Basic understanding of RAG and prompt engineering
• Familiarity with agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.)
• Knowledge of databases or vector stores
• Exposure to debugging, logging, and monitoring tools
