Job summary

FIS is seeking an AI Developer to design, build, and deploy enterprise AI assistants, copilots and virtual agents across banking domains. You will leverage Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Claude and Azure AI Services to deliver end-to-end solutions.

You'll collaborate with business stakeholders from requirements through deployment, participate in the full lifecycle, and mentor junior developers for senior roles. This position is based in Pune/Bangalore/Chennai with EST shift timing.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services and LLMs.
• Strong skills in Prompt Engineering, Conversational AI Development, Virtual Agents, and Generative AI Solution Design.
• Experience implementing Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Semantic Search, and Knowledge Retrieval Solutions.
• Proficiency in NET/C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API development.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support enterprise AI assistants, Copilots, virtual agents, and conversational AI solutions.
• Build intelligent workflows and automation solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Claude, Azure AI Services, and related AI technologies.
• Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, semantic search capabilities, prompt engineering strategies, and response optimization techniques.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, knowledge repositories, business systems, and data sources.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, design solutions, and support successful delivery.
• Participate in the full solution lifecycle including design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, and production support.
• Create and maintain technical design documentation, configuration guides, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
• For senior roles: lead AI solution design initiatives, mentor junior developers, and define AI development best practices.

Focus on building and deploying AI-powered assistants, copilots, virtual agents, and intelligent automation solutions that improve productivity, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

What you will be doing

• Design, develop, configure, and support enterprise AI assistants, Copilots, virtual agents, and conversational AI solutions.
• Build intelligent workflows and automation solutions using: Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Claude, Azure AI Services, Related AI technologies
