Vendasta in Chennai, India is seeking an AI Activation Strategist (Client Management / Non-Engineering). This client-facing position focuses on consulting with small business clients, setting up and tuning Vendasta AI tools, running demos, and training customers to manage solutions independently.

You will partner with senior specialists to deliver tailored AI enablement, monitor performance, and ensure impactful results for clients. This is a non-technical, service-oriented role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Client Success, Account Management, or Technical Consulting.
• Evidence of owning client relationships and leading discovery/training.
• Warm, clear communication that helps small business owners understand new ideas.
• Comfort using AI tools daily as a user; no deep technical background required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand business objectives and identify AI opportunities.
• Be the single point of contact, reducing internal hand-offs.
• Design tailored AI solutions using Vendasta AI technologies.
• Set up and tune AI tools behind the scenes for clients.
• Demo completed AI solutions and obtain final approval.
• Train clients to enable self-sufficiency and long-term adoption.
• Collaborate with Senior Specialists or AI Workflow Architects on complex customizations.
• Monitor performance and adjust to keep results strong.

About the Job

The mission of the AI Activation Strategist is to act as a trusted partner and guide for our clients, transforming business needs into functional AI-driven solutions within the Vendasta ecosystem. The person in this role brings a service-first mindset, genuine curiosity about AI, and a consultative, people-focused communication style. You'll build strong client relationships from the very first conversation, understand what each client needs, get their solution up and running, and keep checking in to make sure it continues to deliver results.

This is a client-facing, non-engineering role. You won't be writing code or building AI models. You'll be consulting with small business clients, setting up and tuning existing Vendasta AI tools, running demos, and training clients so they can manage on their own.

Your Impact

As an AI Activation Strategist, you'll work with clients, Senior Specialists, and AI Workflow Architects to:

• Consult with clients to deeply understand their business objectives and identify opportunities for AI integration
  
• Act as the single point of contact for clients, eliminating internal hand-offs between departments
  
• Design tailored AI solutions based on available Vendasta AI technologies (e.g., Rep AI, Content AI)
  
• Set up and fine-tune AI tools behind the scenes so they run smoothly for the client
  
• Demo and showcase the finished AI solution to the client for final approval
  
• Train clients on the solution to ensure self-sufficiency and long-term adoption
  
• Partner with Senior Specialists or AI Workflow Architects on more complex, technical customizations
  
• Check in on performance over time and make adjustments to keep results strong
  

What You Bring to the Table

• 2+ years in Client Success, Account Management, or Technical Consulting (SaaS or Digital Marketing preferred)
• Clear evidence of owning client relationships, running discovery and training sessions, and handling escalations
• A warm, clear communication style that makes new ideas easy for small business owners to understand
• Comfort using AI tools every day as a user, not as a builder. You don't need a technical background; we'll train you on the specifics
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred

Please note: this role is not suited to candidates whose primary background is software, data, or ML engineering or development.
