Job summary

Aditya Birla Group in Panvel, India seeks a Senior Officer in the Metals unit to plan, monitor, guide, train and review teams for implementing the WCM Roadmap across the organization and institutionalizing WCM processes in the unit.

The role focuses on leading KRA-driven initiatives, forming and reviewing structures, and driving continuous improvement through benchmarking and targeted training programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, guide, train and review teams to implement the WCM Roadmap and institutionalize WCM processes in the Unit.
• Form WCM Structure (Steering committee, SCs, Operating Teams, CFTs) and review it.
• Assist in target setting for these teams.
• Review effectiveness of Sub committees and Operating Teams.
• Equip teams with analytical tools and training.
• Design training and reading material; plan annual training programs for operating teams.
• Gather benchmarking data on best practices from various sources and consolidate.
• Furnish benchmarking information at various levels and facilitate implementation; monitor progress.
• Lead projects to drive process improvements using problem solving tools and VA/NVA studies.
• Address organization-specific losses as needed and drive continuous improvements.
• Plan, design and deploy reward and recognition schemes; manage model areas.
• Coordinate with top management for continuous improvements; assess WCM model for gaps.
• Coordinate with internal/external assessors for continuous assessment and action planning.

• * Formation and review of WCM Structure (Steering committee, SCs, Operating Teams, CFTs)
