Role Summary: The Agency Development Manager is responsible for driving agency recruitment, development, and productivity to achieve business targets. You will be the key link between the company and the agency channel, focusing on building and mentoring a strong team of Financial Advisors to grow market share for Axis Max Life.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Agency Recruitment
  • Identify, recruit and onboard new agents/advisors as per business plan
  • Conduct IRDAI training and ensure licensing of new agents
• 2. Sales & Business Development
  • Drive premium income through agency channel
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual targets for new business, policies, and persistency
  • Promote ULIP, Term, Retirement, and Savings products of Axis Max Life
• 3. Training & Development
  • Conduct product training, sales skill training, and activity planning for agents
  • Handhold new agents for first 90 days to make them productive
  • Motivate and guide top performers to become team leaders/unit managers
• 4. Performance Management
  • Track agent activity, conversions, and retention
  • Run contests, campaigns, and recognition programs to boost productivity
  • Ensure compliance to IRDAI guidelines and company sales processes
• 5. Market Penetration
  • Build relationships with key influencers and centers of influence in the territory
  • Represent Axis Max Life in local events, seminars, and customer meets.
