Job summary

Westcon-Comstor India is seeking a talented Frontend Developer with hands-on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) experience to build engaging, high-performance digital experiences.

You will work with the Development Lead to implement AEM-integrated frontend components using JavaScript and React, ensuring accessible, pixel-perfect interfaces across devices.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of frontend development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) component development.
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and React (hooks, context, state).
• Strong HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive design skills.
• Familiar with AEM Sling Models, HTL (Sightly), and AEM authoring.
• Comfortable working with RESTful APIs and JSON data structures.
• Proficient with Git-based workflows and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite).
• Understanding of WCAG accessibility and SEO best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain AEM frontend components, templates, and editable regions.
• Build responsive, accessible, and performant UI components using React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Collaborate with the Development Lead on architecture decisions and component design.
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and AEM content services.
• Participate in code reviews, contributing to quality and team knowledge sharing.
• Work with the Business Analyst and Design team to translate wireframes and specs into functional interfaces.
• Debug and resolve cross-browser, cross-device, and performance issues.
• Write unit and integration tests for frontend code.
• Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the component library and design system.
• Keep up to date with AEM platform changes and evolving frontend best practices.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and React (hooks, context, state management).
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with AEM Sling Models, HTL (Sightly), and the AEM authoring experience.
• Comfortable working with RESTful APIs and JSON data structures.
• Proficient with Git‑based workflows and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, or similar).
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and SEO best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have

• Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) and Edge Delivery Services.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and headless/hybrid AEM architectures.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of performance tooling (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals optimization).
