Job summary

VML Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Front End Developer for the EDS Migration PODs. You will contribute to block development, content pipelines, and performance optimization using vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a mobile-first mindset.

Proficiency in AEM Edge Delivery Services, CI/CD, and Git is required, along with awareness of Core Web Vitals and WCAG accessibility. Experience with AI-powered EDS implementations is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in front end development.
• AEM Edge Delivery Services: block development, boilerplate, content pipeline.
• Vanilla HTML/CSS/JS with no heavy frameworks.
• Experience with AI-based EDS implementations.
• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse, performance optimization.
• EDS migration experience is a plus; ready to enable frontend devs.

The opportunity

We are looking for a Developer for the EDS Migration PODs. The experience and skills required are given below:

• Experience 3+ Years
• Hands-on experience with AEM Edge Delivery Services — block development, project boilerplate, and content pipeline.
• Strong proficiency in vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (no heavy frameworks — EDS philosophy).
• Should have experience leveraging AI based EDS implementations.
• Understanding of Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scoring, and front-end performance optimization.
• Exposure to EDS migration experience will be a plus. If EDS developer profiles cannot be sourced, we can help to enable front end developers for this program.
• Front End Developers: 3+ Years- Strong proficiency in semantic HTML5, CSS3 (including Flexbox, Grid, animations), and vanilla JavaScript.
• Experience with responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross browser testing. - Familiarity with version control (Git), build tools, and CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of web performance, Core Web Vitals, and accessibility standards (WCAG). - Ability to work with design systems, component libraries, and design handoff tools.
