Job summary

Topgear Consultants in Mumbai seeks an experienced legal/compliance professional for an urgent opening with a leading real estate company. You will monitor regulatory requirements, draft and review legal documents, and coordinate with advocates on court matters to protect the company from legal risks.

The role involves advising management on RERA, redevelopment projects, MBMC compliance, and society formation, plus preparing periodic reports for the legal department.

Qualifications

• Excellent command over English.
• Knowledge to operate modern devices effectively.
• Coordinate with advocate in court matters.
• Knowledge of RERA matters & compliances from registration to quarterly updates.
• Knowledge of redevelopment of society, MBMC compliance, society formation.
• Ability to analyze legal implications of various issues for new projects.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the legal department.
• Responsible for litigation, legal notices, licenses & compliances.

Responsibilities

• Developing company policy and position on legal issues, structure, draft and review reports and other legal documents.
• To coordinate with advocate in court matter & proceedings
• To prepare all kind of deeds & documents/agreement and have knowledge of all RERA matters & compliances from the registration of project to its quarterly updating.
• Should have knowledge of Redevelopment of society, MBMC compliance, Society formation.
• Ability to analyse & examine legal implications of various legal issues related to new projects & advising various internal stakeholders and management on it.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the legal department for management meetings.
• Responsible for litigation, legal notices, keep records of all licenses & compliances and all litigation matters.
