Millennium in Geneva seeks an experienced reconciliation specialist with 6–9 years in hedge fund accounting. You will perform daily and monthly reconciliations across cash, position, trade and P&L, resolving discrepancies and driving improvements. Proficiency in SS&C Geneva and Excel is required; SQL is a plus.

You will partner with Business and IT teams, work on large data sets, and ensure timely reporting of breaks, maintaining strong control and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• 6–9 years total experience in hedge fund accounting reconciliation.
• Hands-on SS&C Geneva experience (must have).
• Strong working knowledge of reconciliation processing across cash, position, trade and P&L.
• Good understanding of capital markets, hedge funds and financial instruments.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
• SQL skills are a plus.

Meet the Team

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on specialist to join our Geneva Operations Team. This position requires deep expertise in Geneva and fund accounting flows, a strong control mindset and able to work with a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

• Perform daily and monthly cash, position, trade, and P & L reconciliations across all instrument types, including FX, equities, options, OTC derivatives, swaps, and fixed income.
• Independently research, investigate, and resolve reconciliation discrepancies and breaks, driving them to closure.
• Partner with Business and IT teams across the organization to gather information and solve problems.
• Work with large data sets to identify trends, root causes, and process improvements.
• Ensure timely completion and reporting of all trade and position breaks in line with quality SLAs.
• Maintain and enhance reconciliation processes and controls, using the Gresham recon tool where applicable.

What You Bring

• Overall experience of 6-9 years, including relevant hedge fund accounting reconciliation experience.
• Hands-on SS & C Geneva experience (must have).
• Strong working knowledge of reconciliation processing across cash, position, trade, and P & L.
• Good understanding of capital markets, hedge funds, and financial instruments. Excellent Excel skills and the ability to work with large data sets. SQL skills are a plus.
• Working knowledge of Gresham recon tool is an advantage. Preferably an Accounting, Finance, or Operations background.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and work with minimal guidance. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
