Meet the Team

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on leader to join our Equity Core Operations Team. The successful candidate will lead and oversee the PB Give-up workflow supporting Millennium Pod teams, ensuring seamless interactions with Prime Brokers and Executing Brokers while driving operational excellence across the function. This position requires deep expertise in Equity and Prime Brokerage Give-up flows, a strong control mindset, and the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

What Youll Do:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the Equity Core Operations team, with end-to-end ownership of the PB Give-up workflow across Millennium Pod teams.

• Oversee daily trade, cash, position, and market value reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to controls.

• Act as the senior escalation point for Prime Brokers (PBs), and resolving complex position, market value, and trade discrepancies.

• Manage cash movements and funding requirements across multiple PBs, ensuring efficient allocation and monitoring.

• Strengthen the control environment by identifying operational risks, implementing preventative measures, and driving root-cause analysis of recurring issues.

• Lead process improvement and automation initiatives, partnering with global Operations teams to enhance scalability and reduce manual touchpoints.

• Coach, mentor, and develop team members, managing workload allocation, performance, and career development.

• Support business initiatives, market expansions, and onboarding of new PB relationships, ensuring operational readiness.
  

What You Bring:

• Overall experience of 12 - 15 years in equity operations, with a minimum of 2–4 years in a team leadership or supervisory capacity.

• Deep understanding of Prime Brokerage Give-up flows, trade lifecycle, and reconciliation processes within a buy-side or sell-side environment.

• Strong knowledge of financial instruments with emphasis on equities and CFDs; a working knowledge of futures and options will be an advantage.

• Proven track record of managing Prime Broker and Executing Broker relationships, including issue escalation and resolution.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work across a range of senior stakeholders, both regionally and globally.

• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and maintain new systems, procedures, and controls, with a focus on scalability and risk mitigation.

• Experience leading process improvement or automation initiatives; familiarity with reconciliation platforms and workflow tools preferred. Strong people management skills, with experience in hiring, developing, and retaining talent.

• Ability to operate effectively under pressure, prioritize competing demands, and consistently meet strict deadlines.
