Aptiv in Bengaluru seeks an Advanced Software Engineer - AUTOSAR Integration to join the AS&UX team, contributing to next-generation ADAS and autonomous driving solutions. You will collaborate with software teams and customer projects to integrate AUTOSAR software components and deliver ARXML configurations for deployment on vehicle platforms.

The role requires strong embedded C/C++, AUTOSAR experience, and familiarity with debugging tools, build systems, and ASPICE SWE.1-SWE.6 activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience in AUTOSAR Integration, ARXML handling, RTE configuration, and BSW stack development.
• Hands-on expertise with Embedded C/C++, automotive debugging tools (CANoe, debuggers), and build systems (CMake, Bazel, Make), and Python scripting.
• Experience with ASPICE SWE.1-SWE.6 activities, version control systems (Git, Gerrit), CI/CD environments, and software quality standards including MISRA compliance and unit testing.

• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into robust AUTOSAR-based software designs and implementations.
• Develop and integrate AUTOSAR software components, ARXML configurations, and BSW modules for ADAS applications.
• Perform AUTOSAR system configuration, SWC composition modeling, component integration, and multicore architecture optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration challenges and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Support software lifecycle activities including debugging, testing, code optimization, ASPICE compliance, and continuous integration processes.

Your role

As an Advanced Software Engineer - AUTOSAR Integration, you will be part of Aptiv's Advanced Safety & User Experience (AS&UX) segment, contributing to next-generation ADAS and autonomous driving solutions. You will work closely with software development teams and customer project teams to integrate AUTOSAR software components, deliver ARXML configurations, and support seamless deployment into customer vehicle platforms.

Your background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field with 6-10 years of industry experience.
• Strong experience in AUTOSAR Integration, ARXML handling, RTE configuration, and BSW stack development.
• Hands-on expertise with AUTOSAR modules including CAN/LIN Communication Stack, Diagnostics, Memory Stack, Operating System, and Watchdog.
• Proficiency in Embedded C/C++, automotive debugging tools (CANoe, debuggers), build systems (CMake, Bazel, Make), and Python scripting.
• Experience with ASPICE SWE.1-SWE.6 activities, version control systems (Git, Gerrit), CI/CD environments, and software quality standards including MISRA compliance and unit testing.
